How to play
Read a question out loud. One of you says, in their head, which of the four they really prefer; the other guesses it out loud. A point for the guesser, not for the one who chose — which is what turns a quiz into a conversation. Then swap.
Why four answers and not two
A would-you-rather with two answers is a coin toss: you guess right half the time, and you learn nothing. With four, guessing becomes a real act of attention — and the four have to be equally believable, or the question solves itself. That is the one rule we kept while writing these: a question whose three other answers are absurd is not guessed, it is deduced, and deducing teaches you nothing about the person sitting opposite.
The forty-four below are the deck that ships with Pomia, sorted by theme. In the app one of you asks and the other answers, a point goes to whoever guessed, and the first to three wins. On paper, they work just as well.
